Petrides Homes                           Evertson Hill

Petrides Homes designed and developed this unique luxury home, named Evertson Hill, completing it in late 2007.  Its protected location, traditional architecture, “green” building features and excellent construction suggest it as a “haven of refuge” in these turbulent times.

Evertson Hill is located in historic Smithfield Valley in the Millbrook Hunt Country; it was part of the 1,100 acre Evertson Estate, founded in 1741, and for many decades one of the largest and most productive farming operations in New York State.  Evertson Hill has panoramic views North, East and South across scenic Smithfield Valley.

The house itself is a “New Old House” which combines the Greek Revival architectural traditions of the Millbrook area with current best practices in residential design; it is superbly hand-crafted with the finest materials and exceptional attention to detail.

The house and site also incorporate a range of “green” features, including an innovative construction process, sustainably developed site, water self-sufficiency, energy efficiency, efficient materials usage and high indoor air quality.
