Situated in historic Dutchess County, the land upon which this Petrides home now sits was originally part of John Evertson's 18th-century estate. Evertson purchased the land from William Creed, one of the original partners in the Great Nine Partners Patent granted by the British Crown in 1697. For decades, the farm was one of the most productive in New York.

This unique location now offers panoramic views of thousands of acres of conserved farmland. Located approximately 90 miles north of New York City, easily accessible as a weekend or vacation destination, Millbrook is a vibrant small town rich in cultural resources, including vineyards, museums, historic homes and the Trevor Zoo. "Urbanites yearning for touches of small town life can find them in Millbrook," wrote the New York Times.
