 Air Quality
This home meets many of the requirements in the EPA's "Indoor Air Package." We have taken care to to have appropriate combustion venting measures, moisture load controls, outdoor air ventilation, and local exhaust. Our system has in-line filters as well as both humidifiers and de-humidifiers. CO detectors are located on every floor of the house as well as temperature change detectors throughout the home.
This photograph illustrates the venting of various systems through the roof; although building code does not require these vents to be run through the house to exhaust through the roof (some of them can be exhausted directly through the side of the house) we chose to have the exhaust and noise as far away as possible from people who might be enjoying the porch or lawn. |
