George Petrides grew up in a family involved with architectural design and apartment building development. He graduated from Harvard College in 1985 and received two Master's degrees from Stanford University, an MBA and an MA in Economics, both in 1993.  He began his career on Wall Street, where he rose to Managing Director in Mergers and Acquisitions at the investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. In 2001, he founded Petrides Homes LLC to apply his financial expertise and architectural design skills to developing homes.  To be at the leading edge of sustainable practices, he has conducted original research in systems building and green homebuilding, including traveling to Japan to meet with 5 of the largest homebuilders.  His goal is to make every home he offers for sale, like Evertson Hill, be unique, elegant and economical.  He lives in Manhattan with his wife Christina and daughter Sofia.
